The Detail

Pas de la Lotta is located on the western edge of Chamonix town centre, on the ground floor of a small chalet/apartment block called Le Pas de la Lotta. It has two bedrooms and can sleep up to six adults (absolute max.) in various combinations of friendliness. Total living space is 50 sq. mtrs and there's a private patio area at the front.

It has all the usual facilities of bath, separate shower, separate loo, kitchen, cave and private parking (great after a hard days skiing - no lugging stuff up flights of stairs!). In the kitchen there's a microwave, a gas hob and oven/grill. In the lounge there's a CD/Radio/Cassette tape player, glasses, games, a mini weather station and a glorious, log burning fire (with easy-to-light logs)!

Le Pas de la Lotta is conveniently located for access to all the skiing areas in the valley and for walking in the summer. We recommend renting a car if you fly (cheapest hirer is, of course, EasyCar.com) but if you decide otherwise, Chamonix-Sud bus station is only two minutes away. Note - the buses can get crowded and in our opinion are not suitable for families with children under 12.

Ski, stick & boot hire (approx £40.00 wk) and food shops are located within 6 minutes walk. Valley lift passes vary in price but typically come in at around £100.00 for six days unless you have something a bit fancy in mind.

Prices per week all in (except logs) range from £375 upwards during the ski season but lower in the summer and lower still, off-season - with all these low-cost flights around, Chamonix is ideal for a short break!

The Lounge has a variety of excellent features including tiled floors with rugs for easy cleaning, a wood fire with logpile outside, cd player, pine dining table and stools/bench, sofa, clic-clac sofa bed, reading corner, weather station (spookily accurate!), boot rack and coffee table.
